Fall Essentials You Can't Live Without: Our Favorite Products for the Season

It's here!! That pumpkin spice latte, sweater wearing, football watching, back to school season we all love! I'm excited about sweater weather no doubt, but there are so many other reasons I am excited about fall. I asked the Babble Panel ladies what items they are loving for fall this year and am sharing all of our collective favorites below, along with our favorite Fall fashion trends. Cozy up and check them out!
If you haven't already, you're going to see this style everywhere this Fall. The oversized barn jacket and leather jacket are the new must-have item. You can find these at places like Nordstrom, Quince, Zara...you name it. We found a few super cute options on Amazon that won't break the bank. Suede
This is THE material for the season! Babble's favorite version of this trend is the suede boho bag. Nordstrom has a very cute one here, but if you want something a little more budget-friendly, check out this bag from Amazon.
Trending Fall Shoes
Brown is the new black and the Babble panel is loving the fall footwear trends. We're loving knee-high boots, especially brown with a chunkier heel. But we also love this new trend of the shorter leather boots and we're absolutely in love with this pair from Steve Madden. You can definitely go casual or a little dressier with these.
Also a big trend this fall is the more retro-looking sneakers, and definitely in the color brown. Check out these super affordable ones!
Who doesn't crave a super super great throw blanket once the fall weather hits and all through winter?! This really inexpensive Amazon option came recommended to me and my whole family is loving it, even the damn dog. Even though I am cold by nature, this one somehow isn't super heavy, but it is so cozy! I think it is the double-sided softness that makes it the one we are all choosing. It's really big so we can snuggle up underneath it together, soft, cozy and will arrive at your door in two days. Win.
How great is it that oversized sweatsuits are in style?! Living in this ALL WINTER LONG. Lots of fun colors to choose from. I went one size up because I wanted it big, baggy and cozy. Love it! - Erika
My teenage daughter’s bed needed a revamp - everything was just tired, flat and blah. So we started with the cozy part! She wanted a quilt over the top of a down blanket and she likes a warm bed so we went with a blanket that is ‘medium' warmth. This down blanket is technically a comforter that is typically used inside a duvet cover, but I don’t think that’s a necessity and it has worked great as a loose down blanket too. One caveat: there are loops on the blanket for duvet corner ties, but we might just cut them off, undecided. The best part though is that it’s actual down (not alternative), super fluffy, and a great price point! It comes in all sizes and varying warmths. We love the big square baffles and it’s so soft and warm without being overwhelmingly huge and fluffy!- Erin
I have this in multiple colors. It reminds me of the Spanx AirEssentials line - soft, lighter weight, very cozy. I like that this one is only $30 and is a little roomy in the torso so it fits easily layered over an outfit or my workout clothes.
Is there anything better than slipping on a comfy pair of sweats and some super soft cozy socks at the end of crisp Fall day? Yeah - tough to beat. These Barefoot Dreams socks are one of our favorites on the market!
Tall Socks & Tights
Tall socks with boots or loafers are IN this Fall! Same with tights. And the technology behind tights today is SO much better than the crap we grew up with - and so many more options. All things coffee-colored are everywhere this Fall too. Check out these great options from Amazon and update your Fall wardrobe while also staying warm.
Fall Scents
We love a good candle - not to sweet or overpowering. All three of these candles will make your house smell like Fall!

I basically have three seasons where I rotate through wearing the same, favorite item. Summer vest season (clearly obsessed as you can read in my "In My Vest Era" post), rotating into the long puffer vest season for fall and then straight into the sleeping bag coat winter season (again obsessed as you can read in my "Our Favorite Sleeping Bag Coat" post) and back to long puffer vest for spring. I love this long puffer vest. It covers up all you really want covered up, perfect for when you start to get chilly at a game or a walk, and is warm and cool looking over a hoodie. I have it in two different colors and might need a third. It is HIGH in the rotation for me. - Brooke

Seasonal Mugs
I'm a sucker for seasonal mugs! Loving these two options this year. The pumpkin one is from Target and I found the "Hello Fall" mug on Amazon for an amazing price! --Nicole
Now you've got the cute fall mug...what to put in it? Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice has been a favorite of mine for years! When you smell this you'll just think, "Mmmmm....fall." This tea is the yummiest blend of cinnamon, ginger, cloves and cardamom. Similar/adjacent to a chai tea. This is herbal, caffeine free so it's great right before bedtime. It also pairs really nicely with a piece of pumpkin pie (just saying). These days I have a hard time finding this in my local grocery stores, so I've been purchasing on Amazon at a comparable price.
