A great gift my girlfriend gave to her husband this past Father's Day was a subscription to the Dive Bar Shirt Club. The gift recipient gets a random shirt each month from a dive bar in the U.S.. This is such a cool gift! Especially if you have a dad/grandpa who lives far away. We got one of these for my dad and for my grandmother this past year and they both LOVE them! Set up is ridiculously easy and the app is SO user-friendly - even my 72-year-old mom figured it out. Simply find a nice spot on a table or shelf for the picture frame and plug it in. Share the app/link with family/friends and they can upload pictures and video to the frame anytime from anywhere. My friend recently took the plunge and got a Kindle Scribe and is very much enjoying it for taking notes, jotting down to-do’s, essentially using it for anything you’d use a paper notebook or planner for. Vanilla Ice Cream
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
½ cup sugar
pinch salt
2 cups heavy cream
1 TBS vanilla
Directions
Use a whisk to blend milk, sugar and salt until dissolved. Stir in cream and vanilla. Blend in ice cream maker for 20 min.
Just include a special message about how sweet dad is to make it the perfect gift. :)
