Greek Turkey Burgers

Ingredients for Burger Patties:
1 egg, beaten
2 cloves of garlic, minced
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
5 ounces frozen chopped spinach, squeezed dry
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Dash of salt and pepper
Dash of paprika
Dash of oregano
Splash of lemon juice
Tzatziki Sauce (not optional - this MAKES the burger!)
½ cup finely grated cucumber
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
½ Tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, grated
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh dill
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh mint, optional
Additional ingredients:
Buns for serving
Grilled veggies (optional topping)
Directions:
Preheat outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil grate. While preheating mix all patty ingredients in a large bowl until well combined (add breadcrumbs until it holds together without crumbling). Form into 4 patties. Cook on grill until no longer pink in the center, 15-20 minutes. Top with lots of tzatziki sauce and grilled veggies and serve on a bun (or no bun for "protein style").
Note: this is a very forgiving recipe - you can just throw stuff in and it turns out great every time. For example, last night I didn't have any eggs so I just used some Greek yogurt.
