Tune out right now if you are one of those women blessed with Disney princess or mermaid hair. This is not the article for you, and these are not the products for you. I don't begin to understand what you might need, because unfortunately some of us are not blessed with luxurious locks.

I've always had hair that creates a very small radius of a ponytail and that seems to just naturally stop growing at a certain length, and whose ends always look like they need trimmed, even if I try to pamper my hair with less blow-drying and heat styling.

I'm not promising any miracles here, although I do promise to never stop searching, but I have found a handful of products that have made a big enough difference that they are worth Babbling about to all the rest of you who have never had hair overflowing from my claw clip or who have never had the great joy of a super thick braid. Let's get into it. And if you don't want to read my descriptions below you can find all of our favorite products right here in our Amazon Storefront.

I'm going to start with the big dog right out of the gate. THIS is the one product I would recommend over all of the others. If I had to credit anything with making the most difference it would be this one used consistently.

You can tell how beloved this product is by the look of my bottle and it has lasted me forever because you use a small amount daily. It is a Kale Infused Repair Treatment that I was influenced into buying after I watched a girl on Instagram raving about the results. It treats fragile, damaged, weak hair and reduces breakage by 50% in one use!! This potent, leave-in treatment is clinically proven to instantly strengthen hair from the first time you use it. It is activated by the heat from your blow dryer and infuses hair with sulfer-rich blue sea kale, protein-building amino acids + B vitamins to instantly help fortify key internal sulfer bonds. I don't know what any of that really means, but I can tell you my hair is different and my hair is absolutely better because of this product.

My hair is actually LONGER because this product is strengthening my hair, and my ends look so healthy and thick!

Directions are to shampoo and condition as normal and towel dry hair. Shake the bottle (I haven't even been doing that!) and dispense 2-3 pumps into your palm and smooth through hair. Do not rinse. Style with heat to activate!

I see that they also have Coconut-Infused and Carb-Infused leave-in conditioning cocktails, so click the link above and check them all out to see which one is best for you and your hair, but don't sleep on this one!

Here's something I would recommend doing for anyone who deals with breakage and just less-than-ideal hair: do a weekly treatment. I know that sounds high-maintenance, but for me, every Sunday night I put in this specific strengthening treatment, and I sleep in it overnight. It really absorbs pretty well into my hair and doesn't leave a mess on my pillow or bother me in any way. Pick a night where you know you're going to wash your hair the next morning. For me, that's after my scheduled rigorous Monday morning workout. It's now just part of my routine and very easy to stick with, and has made a big difference in the overall texture and quality of my hair.

This treatment strengthens hair up to 2x and reduces breakage by 60% after one use for visibly healthier strands. It fortifies the cuticle with rice water, fermented, and hydrolyzed protein while restoring elasticity and resilience. Plus, it is clean, vegan, and color-safe.

This is probably the product I've been using the longest. This spray delivers glassy-smooth, frizz-free hair and is also heat-activated and says it lasts three to four shampoos! It's an anti-frizz treatment and humidity-proof spray. It's my favorite to take on vacations when I'm headed to more humid climates, and it makes me feel better about using heat styling products on my hair.

This product was gifted to me by the company after they saw how much I absolutely fell in love with Korean skincare. This thickening shampoo is designed to support fine, thinning hair with lightweight volume and improved texture, delivering up to 40% more volume instantly. To be honest, I didn't love it at first. It felt like it cleaned my hair too much, if that makes any sense, but I've continued to use it, and I feel like my hair really is ready to absorb my conditioner. Again, my hair has been changing for the better, and this has been a part of my daily routine, so it is worth Babbling about. Their line includes two different types of shampoo, a conditioner, and a volumizing root spray. Click on the link above to learn more - who knows? Maybe this is what has really helped my hair!!

I couldn't find this one on Amazon, but I did find a very similar product that I have used and loved in the past. The Olaplex No.7 Bonding Hair Oil is a highly concentrated weightless styling oil. You just use two to three drops to boost shine and softness instantly, but I mainly use it to strengthen and reduce breakage at the ends of my hair. You can use it to control frizz and flyaways, for sleek styles and healthy-looking hair overall. It's also great for heat protection.

I would love to hear from you what other products you're using that have really helped your thin, brittle, damaged, and slow-growing hair. We've got to stick together out there in a land full of Disney princesses - they don't have anything on us...At least not for long.
