If you are online, you are seeing Korean Skincare everywhere. And although I am mesmerized by the reels and videos showing ridiculously amazing results, I still wasn't quite sure what the term meant, so I looked it up. Here's what I found:

I am in! I started out with purchasing just one product and literally immediately loved it and the results. Once that happened I started talking with girlfriends about Korean Skincare and they told me about other products they were loving and so I purchased even more.
Below I'm sharing my personal tried and true favorites of K-beauty.
This is where my journey started. This is the mask you have seen multiple times on Instagram where the girl puts this white, slick mask on and sleeps in it overnight and wakes up to insanely moisturized and glowing skin. I have watched a hundred of those videos and was always mesmerized, but it seemed too good to be true. You also just don't know who can trust selling things on the internet so I never pulled the trigger. Then I saw these on sale at Costco and I feel like Costco really sells high quality and tested products so I went ALL in and got the 24 pack there. Let me tell...you these are not cheap, especially when you get so many of them, but this mask is an Amazon best seller for a reason. I would definitely recommend trying it out with the 4 pack on Amazon first and seeing how you like it, but also...I think you're going to like it.
I don't really love a face mask to be honest, and to get best results you sleep in this one (or wear for a minimum of 3 hours). With the awesome results I'm committing to doing it once a week. It is a hydrogel mask made of a highly concentrated serum. As your skin absorbs the active ingredients it becomes transparent and dry to the touch on your face (making it easy to sleep in). They say that after just one use you should have a 204% increase in skin moisture, 83% decrease in pore volume and 20% increase in skin luminosity.
It is fragrance free, dermatologist-tested and made with safe ingredients making it a smart choice for sensitive skin. In 2024 this mask won three awards including #1 Best Seller on Amazon for Facial Masks, #1 Best Seller on Amazon for Beauty & Personal Care and Winner of Olive Young Awards and Global Trend.
My 100% honest review is that for me the mask takes more than 2 hours to turn to that transparent look that is dry to the touch and easy to sleep in. I don't love putting a mask on that early in the evening (I'm talking 7:30 or 8pm if I plan to go to bed at 10) but once it hits that transparent phase it really isn't uncomfortable. The eye holes can be a little off for me, but I truly think it is because I have a pointy bridge on my nose and I don't think they were created for someone with my shape of nose. It is really gentle, but effective. It feels cool on the face, especially before it is fully absorbed into your skin. Right away my face looked and felt so much more moisturized and was glowing! I have also noticed my skin pigmentation becoming more even which has been a challenge for me. Extra bonus I feel like it helps reduce and smooth the look of wrinkles on my forehead. One of the main things I have noticed is that my pores are smaller, almost undetectable even right along the bottom ridge of my nose where they have always been most prominent. This is a winner for sure. A little more effort because you have to wear it overnight, but we can do hard things.
I purchased this product and the one following after a friend recommended these as her favorite K-beauty products. As I mentioned, I suffer from uneven skin tone which these Vita C Pads set out to correct.
There is an embossed side of the pad that provides gentle exfoliation, helping remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. The silky side of the pad is for the final touch. They even encourage you to lightly pat it on your face to enhance absorption. They claim that you will notice visible fading of spots and blemishes revealing a clearer and more luminous complexion in just 7 days and I gotta tell ya...I concur.
This is a vegan product that is dermatologist-tested and does not have any artificial colors. It is also a #1 best seller on Amazon and is very affordable compared to other sought after skincare items.
My personal take: for how effective it is, it is again surprisingly, shockingly non-irritating to my skin. You think something that exfoliates would be rough on your skin, but it really isn't. Again, I've noticed improvement of my pigmentation and general glow and radiance of my skin. I'm really loving this on my chest where I am starting to get some sun spots and an area I usually ignore.

This product is made by the same company as the toning pads above. The results actually remind me a lot of the results I am seeing from the overnight mask. It helps with uneven skin tone and gives you that "Korean Glass Glow" skin effect. It helps with firmness so I am also applying it to my neck and chest. They recommend using it morning and night, but I started by just using it at night, but quickly loved it enough I started using it in the morning too.
Not only is this product affordable, but you also don't need to use much. It takes a little bit to be absorbed into the skin. The first time I used it I applied it pretty heavy handed and when I went to bed my face still felt moist and sticky, but it will fully absorb into your face, you might just have to adjust how much you are applying.
Again, dermatologist-tested, silicone-free, no artificial color and low irritating. It's like a dream! This collagen jelly is awesome to create firmness and leave your skin dewey. My friend told me that she has literally been doing botox less because of the results of this product. It claims to use innovative collagen and jelly texture with the hydrolyzed collagen broken down into micro-particles for better absorption and they freeze dry it to keep it fresh and more effective. Whatever they are doing- it is working for millions!
If I was going to start with just one product, this would probably be it.
This white foundation stick is insane! My sister brought it on a recent trip with my mom out to visit me and all three of us wore it everyday and spent the entire trip telling each other how wonderful and luminous our skin looked.
It is meant to blend in with your own skin color and complexion. It changes from white to giving you a full coverage, dewy finished natural color. It starts off white and as you use the blending brush on the opposite side of the stick it transforms into a silky, tinted cream that blends in seamlessly with your skin. Like literally no line under our chins and we weren't really working hard to blend it in. It claims that with each stroke of the brush collagen capsules break open to trigger the color change.
They use a skin-first approach to makeup, by infusing it with hard-working ingredients like Volufiline, hydrolized collagen, adenosine and niacinamide. It feels really silky and moisturizing. My face was literally glowing!
I will say it is definitely a full coverage makeup. I'm used to wearing a tinted moisturizer and this felt like a full face of makeup, but there are times when you want to look your best and have full coverage, and for this price, you cannot beat the results!
Easy to pack and travel with and the brush is super soft (32,000 ultra-fine German bristles) giving you a smooth, airbrushed finish. That is actually exactly how I would explain it- you look like you have a filter on your face!
A TikTok viral product that over 10 million people are using worldwide is meant to improve skin hydration, elasticity and forehead volume. You can choose between fair, natural, medium, tan or deep (which is wild because they are all white). I had used my sister's "Fair" stick and thought the results looked great, but I did order a "Natural" for mine. There wasn't a huge difference so don't get too caught up worrying about which stick to purchase.
Again, a fraction of the price of other foundation or base makeup that you would purchase, this is worth a try! Both my mom and I had purchased it for ourselves before they left my house!
This is one of my friend's obsessions that she turned me onto. These eye gel patches are made with caffeine, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide to brighten, hydrate and anti-wrinkle while they cool. They will help with tired, puffy eyes with dark circles and fine lines giving you a more refreshed and youthful glow.
They are made with clean ingredients and infused with hardworking products while still being gentle on your skin. 97% of those tested noted significant under eye puffiness relief after wearing for 30 minutes.
